2365 Type 13 (4 cylinder, 8 valve)

Produced January 1925 with engine 767, delivered as to the Magasin in Paris on 7.2.25. One of the few original types 13 still in existence. Owned by Lafaye in 1958 with plates 353 7F 79 (F) He sold it to Jean De Dobbeleer who in turn sold it to Uno Ranch, living Rydqvistgatan 4, Göteborg in Sweden in 1958. Mentioned in the 1962 Register with engine 10 as a twin magneto and double ignition Racing Brescia1. Ranch was a successful agent for Triumph Motor cycles2 and he completely restored the car with all new Molsheim components except the petrol tank, which was made in Sweden on the basis of original drawings. The SKF head office in Göteborg specially had three ball bearings made for the crankshaft. The new owner became A. Olsson at an unknown date. Mentioned in Bob King's book with engine 175. An apocryphal story also mentions that this might have been an ex Jean Bugatti Brescia, but this car has never been registered in the Strasbourg area,. Making this unlikely, as all Bugattis driven by the family had to be registered there 3. Now adorned with a new and totally different body.
