About
Bugatti Insights.

Bugatti Insights aims to preserve and unlock the collective memory of Bugatti. Not only the cars, but the complete history of the Bugatti family: the people, designs, objects, chassis, documents, races, works of art, locations, and the connections between them.

A brief history

A century of engineering and art.

Ettore Bugatti founded the marque in 1909 in Molsheim, Alsace, building cars that treated engineering as a craft — light, precise, and unmistakably sculpted. Through the 1920s and 30s, Bugatti dominated Grand Prix racing with the Type 35 and produced some of the most celebrated coachwork ever built, from the Type 41 Royale to the Type 57SC Atlantic.

The Second World War interrupted production and, for a time, the marque itself. Bugatti was reborn in 1991, then re-founded again in 1998 under new ownership, returning with the Veyron in 2005 and the Chiron in 2016 — redefining what a hypercar could be.

By bringing together historical sources, specialist knowledge, and Human-AI collaboration, we are creating a knowledge environment capable of identifying relationships that often remain hidden across separate archives, collections, and publications. Our mission is to transform fragmented Bugatti knowledge into structured, verifiable data capital — making it accessible to collectors, researchers, museums, auction houses, certification authorities, and enthusiasts worldwide.
