This unique creation began in the mid-1970s with the discovery of Type 46 chassis parts in the Toulouse region. The engine, sourced by Bugatti specialist Henri Novo, came from a destroyed Bugatti in the Vosges. In 1975, Jean-Pierre Varin acquired the parts and, with Gabriel Lebret, set out to build a Petite Royale inspired by the elegant Type 41 Royale Coupe Napoleon of 1932. The result is a bespoke homage to one of Bugatti's most prestigious designs.
