Extant

Introduced in 1927 as a half-scale electric car for Ettore Bugatti's son Roland, the Type 52 "Baby" was modeled after the Grand Prix Types 35 and 51. Its debut at the Milan Automobile Salon drew such interest that Bugatti put it into production for children aged 6 to 8. Powered by a 12-volt motor with reverse gear, it featured alloy wire wheels with four-wheel brakes, pneumatic tyres, and an extended cockpit.
