Introduced in 2008 at Pebble Beach, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport was an open-top evolution of Bugatti's hypercar, featuring a removable transparent roof panel. Limited to 150 units, production began in 2009. Designed under Achim Anscheidt, it retained the performance of the coupé while offering open-air driving. A roofless barchetta variant with a reduced windscreen and redesigned front was also created as a design study but never reached production.
