Produced in 1922, but imported into Ireland three years later in 1925 and registered in Londonderry on 11-04-1925 with plates UI 1558 registered on April 11, 1925 in Ireland. Original dashplate stamped 7 HP instead of 7 CV¹. The car was found in boxes in Londonderry in 1949 and bought by J. Lyndon Kearney in Belfast, Northern Ireland². He swapped it around 1962 for 23 2400 from Hugh Conway Sr, Crawfordsburn, who built a new body, an open 2 seater with bolster tank. Both cars are the subjects of the Brescia overhaul manual³. Restoration described in Bugantics. Conway and his son used it extensively at various Bugatti meetings.Next owners: Henry JF Moffatt, D Livingstone, Mrs Frances Adam, Prospect House, Bulls Cross, Stroud, Gloucester (1971)⁴. B.G. House owned it in 1989 and for sale at Coys 26-06-1991 (lotr 59), where sold to Belgian owner Leysen, later for sale with Christophe Pund and la Galerie des Damiers 1995 to fellow countryman Steven Hopchat⁵ and on 05-03-2001 Bonhams and Brooks, Geneva auction (lotr 199) when sold to Helmut Pende, Pfaffing (D). Completely restored and repaired by Gentry Restorations, painted old English white and with red leather seats. Participated in the first Austrian Bugatti Meeting in August 2006
