History
The chassis was assembled at the Bugatti factory in January 1933 alongside five others and sent to the Gangloff works in Colmar around June 1933 to receive faux cabriolet coachwork, model 749.G, described with a luxury roof and dark grey metallic paint. On 4 August 1933 the completed car was dispatched by rail to the Bugatti showroom on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, with the factory noting it was destined for the concours d'elegance at La Baule. It has appeared more recently in the classic auction market as a four-seat cabriolet.
