Launched in 2012, the Grand Sport Vitesse combined the open-top style of the Grand Sport with the 1200 hp and 1500 Nm performance of the Super Sport, becoming the fastest open car in the world at 408.84 km/h. To mark the record, Bugatti built just eight numbered World Record Car editions, one of which is part of The Perridon Collection. Production of the Veyron ended in 2014 with 450 units built, owned by just 320 customers, sixty of whom had more than one.
