History

Ordered on 7 March 1934 by Jerome Wagner, a brewer in Mutzig and friend of Jean Bugatti, chassis 57119 received the factory Ventoux body designed by Joseph Walter, trimmed in Havane leather and finished in June 1934; the factory recorded the sale on 2 June 1934, Wagner having already registered it in Strasbourg as 7372-NV2 on 14 May. Wagner kept it until 11 July 1939, when it passed to Dr Pierre Muller of Strasbourg. It went to Garage Waeffler (Strasbourg) in 1949, to Bugatti trader Henri Meurdra in 1950, and on 14 June 1951 to Geo Lepere in Paris (1175 AK 75).
