Type 53 (1932-1933) record.
The Bugatti Type 53, built in 1931, was a radical all-wheel-drive racing car specifically designed to conquer winding hillclimbs and tight circuit tracks. Equipped with a massive 300-horsepower, 4.9-liter supercharged engine, it was famously difficult to steer but achieved legendary hillclimb victories throughout the 1930s.
